About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center seeks to procure four Pressure Switch Assembly units, Part Number 700-773-25, required for repair of the Common Avionics ARQ-166 Weapon System. The Government plans to issue a one-time Firm Fixed Price purchase order for this non-stocklisted item and has indicated that all responsible sources may submit capability statements or proposals for consideration. However, the agency has clarified that this notice represents an intent to procure rather than a formal request for competitive proposals, with the final determination to compete or not compete remaining at the Government's discretion. Potential offerors are encouraged to contact the designated Contract Specialist or PCO for additional information or to communicate any concerns regarding this acquisition. The solicitation was posted on September 9, 2025, with responses due by September 12, 2025, providing only three days for interested parties to respond.
This procurement does not include any set-aside designation and appears open to all qualified contractors. The Government has identified DM Aero (CAGE code 6UBJ4) as a potential source, with the Engineering Notice (EN) providing the Part Number Office with direction to procure the four units from this contractor. The contract falls under NAICS code 335999 for All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing and PSC code 5930 for Switches. Work will be performed in Warner Robins, Georgia, and the procurement involves a specific quantity of four pressure switch assemblies. While no contract value is specified in the notice, the one-time nature of this purchase order suggests a relatively straightforward acquisition for a critical weapon system component.
