About this opportunity
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center is seeking to procure two 6GHz vector signal generators for the Radio Frequency Mass Gauge project at Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The equipment must meet specific technical specifications including an output frequency range of 10 kHz to 6 GHz, output power of +20dBm, I&Q input ports, 10MHz reference input/output ports, frequency sweep capability, 75MHz modulation baseband bandwidth, and frequency resolution of 0.001 Hz or better. These generators will be used for testing and developing a custom analog front end for critical project milestones in a laboratory environment. The evaluation will be conducted using the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) method, with technically unacceptable quotes being removed from consideration. Quotes are due by August 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. CT, and all contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing to Monica Wilson by July 31, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. CT.

The quantity being procured is specifically two vector signal generators, with delivery required before January 1, 2026. Performance will take place at NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where the equipment will support the Radio Frequency Mass Gauge project. Submitted quotes will remain valid for 30 days after submission, and no specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in the solicitation documents.
