Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. This announcement constitutes a Request for Quote W912JC-08-T-5706.
This solicitation is for the one time purchase of Cylinder Assemblies Cooling, NSN: 2835-01-074-0014, Army Part Number: 12286368, Honeywell Part Number: 3-110-400-01. Applicable to AGT 1500 Gas Turbine Engine. Production of this part is restricted to vendors previously approved by the U.S. Army Tank Command, Warren, MI. 48397-5000 and/or Honeywell Inc., Defense and Space, 1300 W. Warner Road, Tempe, AZ 85285-2200. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity (U.S. Army Tank Command) in order to maintain the quality of the part. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to submit a price proposal. This solicitation is issued as an RFP. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. Price must include freight charges to FOB Dest Fort Riley, KS. In order to receive an award of this contract, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 336412. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (Feb 2007) applies to this acquisition.
