The 309th Software Maintenance Group (SMXG) is responsible for the Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and sustainment of the system and subsystems on the F-16 Blocks 30/40/50/EPAF Operational Flight Programs (OFPs).  For the past ten years this mission has been accomplished by using the QuickSilver 2.0.0 software licenses purchased in 2004 however, this version has been obsolete for the past year causing instability and feature limitations that has significantly reduced productivity of the mission efforts driving the critical need to upgrade the QuickSilver software licenses to the current version, QuickSilver 3.6.  Thus, the acquisition is to purchase 360 QuickSilver 3.6 perpetual software licenses and required software maintenance support.
