About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is soliciting proposals for the manufacture of centrifugal pumps with 1,000 gallons per minute capacity rated at 175 PSI, designated as PUMPCTFGL 1KGPM 175. This firm-fixed-price contract requires compliance with contract quality requirements and manufacturing specifications for the specialized pumping equipment. The solicitation has undergone multiple amendments, with the final proposal submission deadline extended to October 2, 2025, and offerors must submit proposals exclusively through NECO or email channels. The procurement includes provisions for certified cost or pricing data requirements and carries a priority rating designation for national defense, emergency preparedness, and energy programs. The contract includes standard inspection provisions for fixed-price supplies and incorporates various Navy-specific clauses including small business subcontracting plans and equal opportunity requirements.

The solicitation shows evidence of amendments that both added and removed a small business set-aside designation, with the current version indicating no set-aside is being used, though this appears to have changed throughout the amendment process. The quantity requirement has been reduced through amendments from an initial 6 units to 2 units, with a delivery timeframe of 180 days specified in the contract terms. The contract falls under NAICS code 333914 for Measuring, Dispensing, and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing and PSC category 4320 for Power and Hand Pumps. The contracting officer can be reached at Kailyn.m.muro.civ@us.navy.mil with phone number 717-605-1350 for inquiries. While specific award values are not disclosed in the available information, the procurement involves specialized industrial pumping equipment that would typically represent a significant contract value given the manufacturing requirements and military specifications involved.
