About this opportunity

Paragraph 1:

The U.S. Department of the Navy, Naval Supply Systems Command, is seeking to procure 40 units of a PUMP ASSEMBLY, POWER with the National Stock Number 7R-1720-012929791-VX. This item is flight critical and requires government source approval prior to contract award, as the available technical data is not sufficient to support full and open competition. Offers must include the information detailed in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures, and those that fail to provide the required data will not be considered for award. The solicitation deadline is June 10, 2024.

Paragraph 2:

This procurement does not have a set-aside designation. The main NAICS code is likely 333911 (Pump and Compressor Manufacturing), and the PSC code is 4810 (Pumps and Compressors). Only the sources previously approved by the government for this item have been solicited, as the process for approving a new source would likely delay the award and impact the government's ability to meet fleet support needs. The specific award value or budget range is not provided in the pre-solicitation notice.
