About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking repair and modification services for a pump assembly identified by NSN 7H-4320-016040817 (TDP VER 003). This procurement is being conducted as a sole-source acquisition under FAR 6.302-1 authority, as the government has determined that adequate specifications and technical data cannot be obtained economically through competitive means. While the government intends to negotiate with only one source, the notice explicitly invites all responsible sources to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations to demonstrate their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The evaluation will be based on sources' ability to meet the technical and delivery requirements specified in the solicitation documents. The due date for responses is November 28, 2025, providing potential contractors with a substantial window to prepare their submissions and gather necessary technical documentation.

This procurement includes no set-aside designations and seeks four units with delivery on a free-on-board origin basis. No incumbent contractor or award value information is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The 45-day advance notice period (or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) allows interested parties to access technical specifications, drawings, and other standardized documents through the DoD Single Stock Point or ASSIST-Online database. Contractors requiring technical documents not available online may contact the DLA Document Services directly at the provided phone numbers or mailing address. The specific technical data package version and quantity requirements emphasize the specialized nature of this repair and modification contract.
