About this opportunity

Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit repair or modification of a pulley assembly (NSN 7H-4330-009693845, TDP VER 002) under a sole-source procurement authority, with a response deadline of 30 June 2026. The Government has determined that it does not own or possess the data or rights needed to source this part from additional suppliers, and that both purchasing the data and reverse engineering are uneconomical; accordingly, the procurement is being conducted under FAR 6.302-1 (unique and compelling urgency). The requirement covers 32 units with delivery FOB origin. While this notice announces a sole-source intent, the Government will consider all responsible sources that identify their interest and capability within 45 days of publication (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). Interested vendors may also submit proposals demonstrating capability to meet the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The Government's final determination whether to conduct a competitive procurement remains solely within its discretion. Market research has concluded that FAR Part 12 (commercial items) policies do not apply to this procurement.
