About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications service provider to establish a 1GB lease line connecting two military facilities in North Carolina. Specifically, the contract requires providing, installing, and maintaining a dedicated telecommunications infrastructure between Building 7060 in Atlantic (coordinates 34.882418, -76.355309) and Building 9014 in Beaufort (coordinates 34.9800, -76.4299). The solicitation is structured as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial products and services, targeting providers in the Wired Telecommunications Carriers sector (NAICS 517111). The contract will be awarded using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, which means the government will select the compliant quote with the lowest overall price. Vendors must submit quotes with both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges, and the proposal is due by May 30, 2025, with the product service code designated as DG11.

This procurement is not set aside for small businesses and will be open to all qualified telecommunications service providers. The contract requires the selected vendor to establish a telecommunications link specifically to the first-floor communication room in Building 9014. While specific award values are not disclosed in the solicitation, the contract appears to be for a ongoing telecommunications service with an initial service commencement anticipated after the proposal due date. The technical requirements include a 1GB bandwidth specification, with precise location coordinates provided to ensure accurate service delivery. Vendors must comply with specific Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) terms and conditions, including provisions related to commercial products and services. The place of performance is strictly defined as the two specified military buildings in North Carolina, with precise geographical coordinates provided to guide potential contractors.
