About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications service provider to deliver internet connectivity for the New York TRACON facility, with a specific requirement of providing internet service that maintains a minimum of 6 megabit upload and download speeds. This solicitation is structured as a Request for Quote (RFQ) utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate potential vendors. The procurement falls under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers and uses product service code DG11 for network and telecommunications services. Vendors must submit quotes that clearly identify monthly recurring charges and non-recurring charges, with detailed line item descriptions, quantities, and units of measure as specified in the IQO Deskbook. The solicitation is a combined synopsis and request, with quotes due by February 28, 2025, and no separate written solicitation will be issued beyond the current documentation.
This procurement does not have a small business set-aside designation, meaning all qualified vendors may compete for the contract. The solicitation incorporates standard Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) terms and conditions for commercial products and services, including specific clauses related to instructions, representations, certifications, and contract terms. While specific award value details are not provided in the documentation, the contract will involve ongoing internet service provision for a critical air traffic control facility. The place of performance is the New York TRACON location, with service expected to commence following contract award. Potential vendors must carefully review the attached solicitation document for complete details on evaluation criteria, specific technical requirements, and compliance expectations, as the procurement will be awarded based on the most technically acceptable proposal at the lowest price.
