About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications service provider to deliver internet connectivity with a minimum of 6 Mbps upload and download speeds at 9399 Jeff Fuqua Blvd South in Orlando, Florida. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial internet services, classified under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers and PSC code DG11 for network telecommunications access services. The solicitation will utilize a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate submitted quotes, focusing on cost-effectiveness and meeting the specified technical requirements. Quotes are due by February 28, 2025, and must include both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges for the proposed internet service. The procurement follows standard Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines for commercial products and services, incorporating specific clauses and provisions from existing basic agreements.

This solicitation is not set aside for small businesses and will be open to all qualified telecommunications providers who can meet the technical specifications. No specific incumbent contractor or current service provider is mentioned in the documentation. While the exact award value is not specified, the contract appears to be for a single location with standard commercial internet service terms. The service location is precisely defined as 9399 Jeff Fuqua Blvd South in Orlando, Florida, suggesting a specific facility or site requiring dedicated internet connectivity. The procurement timeline indicates the service should be operational shortly after the quote submission deadline, with the posted date of January 29, 2025, and the response due date of February 28, 2025, suggesting a relatively quick turnaround for service implementation.
