About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications provider to establish and maintain a new 10GB WAVE leased access circuit connecting two military facilities in California. Specifically, the contract requires installing and maintaining a high-speed network connection between Building 33 at Point Mugu NAWC (located at 652 Ronald Reagan Blvd) and Building 2145 at Beale AFB (located at 5801 C Street). The procurement is classified under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers and will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process. Vendors must submit quotes that include both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges using product and service code DG11 for telecommunications requirements. The solicitation is an amended request with proposals due by May 13, 2025, and represents a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and services prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6.

The contract opportunity is not designated with a small business set-aside, meaning all qualified vendors can compete for the opportunity. While specific award values are not detailed in the provided documentation, the contract involves establishing a critical communications infrastructure between two Department of Defense installations in California. The telecommunications circuit will be a 10GB capacity WAVE leased access service, suggesting a significant bandwidth requirement for military communication needs. The place of performance encompasses the specified buildings at Point Mugu NAWC and Beale AFB, with vendors expected to provide comprehensive installation, maintenance, and ongoing service support. The solicitation indicates this is a technical infrastructure project designed to enhance inter-base communication capabilities, with precise network connectivity specifications outlined in the attached government files.
