About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications provider to establish and maintain a new 10GB optical commercial circuit lease connecting two specific buildings in Colorado. The circuit will link Building 1, located at 750 S Richfield Street in Aurora, with Building 730 at Buckley Space Force Base, situated at 84 North Aspen Street. This procurement is classified under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers and will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process. Vendors must submit quotes that include both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges, following specific commercial products and services terms and conditions outlined in various Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions. The solicitation is being conducted as a request for quote (RFQ), with proposals due by May 30, 2025, and the contract is expected to begin shortly thereafter.
The solicitation does not include a small business set-aside, meaning all qualified vendors can compete for the contract. The product and service code for this telecommunications requirement is DG11, focusing on network satellite communications and telecom access services. While specific award values are not disclosed in the solicitation, vendors will be evaluated based on their ability to provide a technically acceptable solution at the lowest price. The circuit installation will require precise technical capabilities to establish a reliable 10GB optical connection between the two specified locations in Colorado. Potential contractors should carefully review the attached solicitation documents, which provide detailed information about the specific requirements, evaluation criteria, and performance expectations for this telecommunications infrastructure project.
