About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is soliciting a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a 10GB WAVE telecommunications service lease connecting two military facilities in California. Specifically, the contract requires providers to lease, install, and maintain a network connection between Building 5, Room 1000I at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake and Building 2145, Room 105 at Beale AFB. The procurement will utilize the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, with evaluation focusing on technical acceptability and pricing considerations. Potential vendors must submit quotes incorporating commercial terms and conditions, with pricing structured to include monthly recurring and non-recurring charges using the product and service code DG11. The solicitation is open for responses, with the quote submission deadline set for May 13, 2025, under NAICS category 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers.

The solicitation does not include a small business set-aside, indicating that any qualified telecommunications service provider can compete for the contract. No specific incumbent contractors are mentioned in the available documentation. While precise award values are not explicitly stated, the contract involves a comprehensive telecommunications infrastructure service connecting two critical military installations in California. The service will require precise technical specifications for the 10GB WAVE network connection, with installation and maintenance being key performance requirements. The place of performance spans the specified rooms in Buildings 5 and 2145 at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake and Beale AFB, respectively. The contract appears to be structured for a standard telecommunications service lease, with expectations of reliable, high-speed network connectivity between these military locations.
