About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is soliciting a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial internet services to be delivered to 3505 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach, Florida. The procurement seeks a telecommunications service provider capable of delivering internet connectivity with a minimum of 20MB upload and download speeds. This solicitation follows a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, which means the quote will be evaluated primarily on meeting technical specifications and offering the most competitive pricing. The RFQ is classified under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers and uses product service code DG11 for telecommunications services. Vendors must submit quotes with both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges, adhering to standard commercial product and service terms and conditions outlined in federal acquisition regulations. The proposal submission deadline is June 9, 2025, with the solicitation being a combined synopsis and request for quote.
The procurement is not designated as a small business set-aside, meaning all qualified vendors can compete for the contract. The service location is specifically at the West Palm Beach address, and the contract will require the selected vendor to provide, install, and maintain the internet service. While specific award value details are not explicitly stated, the procurement focuses on a monthly service contract for telecommunications infrastructure. The solicitation incorporates standard federal acquisition regulations, including FAR clauses related to commercial products and services, which outline the terms and conditions for potential contractors. Vendors will need to demonstrate technical capability to meet the 20MB internet speed requirement and provide a competitive pricing structure. The contract appears to be a straightforward telecommunications service procurement aimed at establishing reliable internet connectivity for a specific DISA location.
