About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications service provider to establish, install, and maintain a 3GB Ethernet service connecting two specific locations in Georgia: a main facility in Macon and Building 214's Frame Room at Robins Air Force Base. This procurement is classified under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers and will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate vendor quotes. The solicitation is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or services, prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, and represents the only solicitation document that will be issued for this opportunity. Vendors must submit pricing as monthly recurring and/or non-recurring charges, with the product and service code DG11 for telecommunications requirements. The quote submission deadline is April 17, 2025, with offers to be evaluated based on specific criteria detailed in the attached solicitation documents.

The contract opportunity does not include a small business set-aside, meaning both small and large telecommunications providers can compete for the contract. The specific service involves establishing network connectivity between the commercial demarcation points at 1821 Avondale Mill Road in Macon, GA, and 150 Richard Ray Blvd at Robins Air Force Base, with a focus on installing and maintaining the 3GB Ethernet service. While specific award values are not disclosed in the solicitation, the procurement involves telecommunications infrastructure that will connect two critical government facilities. The contract terms will incorporate standard Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses for commercial products and services, including provisions related to offeror representations, contract terms, and compliance with statutory requirements. The place of performance spans two specific locations in Georgia, with the service expected to provide reliable and high-speed network connectivity for government operations.
