About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is soliciting proposals for a 1GB Ethernet service connecting two locations in Ohio: Room 340 on the 3rd floor of the Mission Point Building in Dayton and Room 201 on the 2nd floor of Building 20676 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial telecommunications services under NAICS code 517111 and product service code DG11. The procurement will use a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate vendor quotes. Vendors must submit pricing as monthly recurring charges and/or non-recurring charges, following the standard commercial terms and conditions incorporated through the DITCO Basic Agreement. The solicitation was posted on January 15, 2025, with proposals due by March 26, 2025, and includes standard FAR provisions for commercial products and services.

This solicitation is not set aside for small businesses and covers the installation, provision, and maintenance of a dedicated 1GB Ethernet service between the specified locations. The procurement does not indicate a specific contract value or budget range, nor does it mention any incumbent contractors. The service locations are precisely defined as Room 340 (3rd floor) at 2601 Mission Point Building in Dayton, OH 45431, and Room 201 (2nd floor) at 2435 5th Street, Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433-50611. The contract will require vendors to meet specific technical requirements for telecommunications infrastructure, with evaluation focused on technical acceptability and pricing. The procurement uses standard commercial acquisition procedures, incorporating federal acquisition regulations and defense supplement provisions to ensure comprehensive service delivery and compliance with government telecommunications standards.
