About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications service provider to establish, install, and maintain a 1GB Ethernet lease connecting two specific buildings: Tunnel 27-S2F located at 1137 Branchton Road in Boyers, Pennsylvania, and Building 23, Room 164 at the Dial Central Office in Columbus, Ohio. This solicitation is structured as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers, with a product service code of DG11 for telecommunications requirements. The procurement will utilize a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate submitted quotes. Vendors must provide pricing that includes both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges for the proposed service. The solicitation is a combined synopsis and formal request, with quotes due by December 20, 2024, and no separate written solicitation will be issued beyond the current documentation.
The contract opportunity is not designated as a small business set-aside, meaning all qualified telecommunications providers can compete for the award. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed in the documentation, the service requires a comprehensive telecommunications solution involving lease, installation, and maintenance of the 1GB Ethernet connection between the two specified locations. The procurement incorporates standard Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) terms and conditions, specifically FAR 52.212-1 through 52.212-5, which outline instructions, representations, certifications, and commercial product terms. The precise service start date is not explicitly stated but is expected to be negotiated following quote evaluation. Interested vendors must carefully review the attached solicitation documents, which provide detailed requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines for this telecommunications infrastructure project.
