About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a commercial telecommunications service for a 100MB Ethernet lease connecting two specific government facilities in Lakewood, Colorado, and San Antonio, Texas. This procurement is structured as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, which means the contract will be awarded to the compliant vendor offering the lowest price. The solicitation is classified under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers and PSC code DG11 for network and telecommunications services. Vendors must submit quotes that include both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges, with detailed line item descriptions. The solicitation was posted on January 17, 2025, with proposals due by February 17, 2025, representing a 30-day response window.

The contract does not include a small business set-aside, meaning all vendors can compete for the opportunity. The specific locations for service installation are Building 40, Room B-1218 at the Denver Federal Center and Building 200, Computer Room 2A at 3326 General Hudnell Drive in San Antonio. While the exact contract value is not specified, the procurement involves a telecommunications infrastructure lease with precise technical specifications for a 100MB Ethernet connection. The contract terms will be governed by standard Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses for commercial products and services, specifically referencing clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. Interested vendors must carefully review the attached solicitation documents, which contain the complete evaluation criteria and submission requirements.
