About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations, Federal Protective Service, Acquisitions Division is procuring Armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services throughout Utah and Wyoming. This pre-solicitation notice announces an extension of the current task order rather than a competitive procurement; therefore, no Request for Proposal will be issued and full and open competition will not be employed. The services fall under the Security Guards and Patrol Services NAICS category (561612) and the Housekeeping-Guard PSC category (S206). This notice does not contain specific evaluation criteria, as this is a non-competitive extension rather than a new solicitation. No deadline information for questions or proposals is provided in this pre-solicitation notice, as competitive submissions are not being sought.
This contract extension involves no set-aside designation and will be awarded to the incumbent contractor, Diversified Protection Corporation, located at 109 Rier Landing Drive, Suite 300, Daniel Island, South Carolina 29492. The extension period is for up to three months, designed to maintain continuity of protective security services in the Utah and Wyoming region while the government prepares to award and transition to a follow-on contract vehicle. The notice does not disclose the contract value or budget range for this extension. This limited extension timeframe reflects the government's intent to bridge operations between the current task order (70RFPW25FRW800006) and the subsequent competitive procurement effort for these essential security services.
