About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command published this Special Notice seeking industry feedback on computer vision capabilities to support Army initiatives. Project Linchpin aims to establish an AI/MLOps ecosystem through which the Army can securely train and deliver models to various programs.
This Request for Information solicits contractor input by December 1st, 2023 on approaches for training object detection and classification models using Army video and imagery datasets. Contractors are asked to provide details on recommended team structures, cost considerations, intellectual property issues and contracting mechanisms for a potential future effort. Responses should not exceed seven pages and include the contractor's size and traditional/non-traditional defense experience.
