About this opportunity
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime anticipates issuing a total small business set-aside solicitation for NSN 4330-01-409-0092 filter component, with solicitation release expected June 3, 2026, and a pre-solicitation response deadline of June 18, 2026. The procurement is structured as a fixed-price Indefinite Quantity Contract with a one-year base period and four single-year option periods, with annual price adjustment provisions for out-year pricing. Shipments will be delivered to various military depot locations on an as-needed basis within established minimum and maximum quantity limits.
The Government lacks sufficient technical data to conduct full and open competition; engineering source approval by the design control activity is required for quality and performance assurance. Three current approved sources have been identified: United Filters International (P/N UPDN20R40PE), Filter Technology Inc. (P/N CWP20A40PEP), and Pall Trincor (P/N U20-AW40U-EC1U). The item is procured under FAR Part 12 as commercial and is subject to the Buy American Act. Evaluation will consider price, past performance, and delivery capability. The NAICS code is 333998 (All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 700 employees. Solicitation documents will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. Inspection and acceptance occur at destination under the First Destination Transportation program.
