About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking to procure air filter elements (NSN 4130-00-595-0135) through a competitive, firm fixed-price indefinite quantity contract. This acquisition will be evaluated based on a combination of price, delivery performance, past performance, and other factors specified in the formal solicitation. Contractors must meet the small business size standard of 1,250 employees or fewer, as this opportunity is designated as a total small business set-aside. The solicitation will be posted on the DLA Internet Bid Board Site (DIBBS) on or about April 16, 2026, with a proposal due date of May 19, 2026. The contract may be subject to Buy American Act requirements, and the government retains all rights to the technical data, with complete drawings and specifications to be provided at solicitation issuance.

The contract is structured as a total small business set-aside under FAR Part 19 and will be awarded through full and open competition after exclusion of non-qualifying sources in accordance with FAR Part 15 and 10 U.S.C. 3201. Contractors must be capable of meeting a 120-day production delivery schedule; however, a First Article Test (FAT) requirement extends the total delivery timeline to 240 days, unless a waiver is granted, which would allow completion in 120 days. The contract will have a one-year base period with four optional one-year renewal periods, not to exceed five years total. Items will be shipped to various military depot locations under minimum and maximum quantity limits on an as-needed basis. No incumbent contractor or award value information is specified in this pre-solicitation notice, as this is the preliminary stage prior to formal solicitation release.
