About this opportunity

DLA Troop Support is conducting market research to identify sources for programmable cartridges (NSN 7045-01-454-2579) with responses due by August 10, 2026. This is a sources sought notice only, not a solicitation; the agency intends to issue a future indefinite-quantity contract but makes no commitment to purchase based on this inquiry.

Approved sources currently listed are Symetrics Industries, LLC under part numbers 22830 164191 and 22830 164191-16-02. The market research survey requests vendor input on product classification (commercial, modified commercial, or non-commercial), materials composition, inventory stocking, production rates, transportation and packaging, pricing stability, delivery timeframes, minimum and maximum ordering quantities, surge capacity, and electronic data interchange capabilities.

Estimated annual demand is 30 units. The anticipated contract structure calls for a base term of either one or two years with option periods totaling no more than five years. The government seeks FOB Origin unit pricing and willingness to accommodate volume price breaks. Responses should address option-year pricing mechanisms, with vendor preferences between fixed pricing and Economic Price Adjustment formulas tied to Producer Price Index. The agency indicates pricing information will influence determination of contract term length.

Responses remain confidential and non-binding. Interested contractors should submit written responses to Luis Marrero at Luis.Marrero@dla.mil. If a solicitation results, it will be synopsized on beta.SAM.gov and posted on DIBBS.
