Update #2 · Latest ·
The GSA has a requirement for a multiple award IDIQ contract for professional design services within the Pacific Rim Region: Arizona, California, Nevada, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
The General Services Administration (GSA) is the owner or the lessor of most of the office space occupied by federal executive agencies. The GSA assigns appropriate blocks of space from its inventory to various federal agencies either in federally owned buildings or in leased buildings. If federally owned space is not available, the GSA serves as the agent for the client agency and enters into a lease on behalf of the Government. As part of the assignment and initial occupancy process, the GSA Interior Design/Workplace Program may provide the initial planning and layouts for the space. The GSA also may assist tenants in the redesigning/realigning of existing space during an agency's term of occupancy. In order to respond to these needs, the GSA maintains an in-house design staff, and supplements it by contracting for interior design/space planning services, pre- and post-occupancy evaluations and other design-related services.
The GSA has the need to supplement its in-house staff by contracting for professional design services for buildings located in the Pacific Rim Region. To satisfy this requirement, the GSA will procure a multiple award contract consisting of an award of up to five Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contracts. The contract term will be for one (1) basic year with four (4) one (1) year options. The cumulative contract award amount of the task orders may not exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000.) in each year of the contract with an aggregate total of five million dollars ($5,000,000.) per contract for five (5) years of service. The guaranteed minimum amount is $2500.00 for the first year.
The Government intends to award multiple contracts from this notice but reserves the right to award as few as one contract.
The small business size standard determination for this acquisition is based on average annual receipts of not more than $7.0 Million over the latest three (3) completed fiscal years.
This will be a multiple award contract quoting unit prices per square foot for basic interior design services and hourly rates for additional services.
