About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center is conducting market research to identify potential sources for various spare parts utilized on the MH-65 aircraft through a Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information. The procurement involves 193 specific aircraft components including bellcranks, pins, screws, rods, seals, hinges, supports, and other mechanical parts, all requiring full traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Airbus Helicopters, France. Vendors must demonstrate their capability to provide these parts with complete OEM traceability, as the USCG does not own the manufacturing data or technical specifications for these proprietary components. Responses must include company information such as CAGE code, point of contact details, business classification status under NAICS code 336413, and GSA contract information if applicable. The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM EDT, with responses to be sent via email to Elaina.M.Price@uscg.mil with reference number 70Z03825IB0000021 in the subject line.
This market research exercise does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all business types, though vendors are required to identify their classification as large business, small business, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone, women-owned, veteran-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned small business under the NAICS code 336413 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are specifically mentioned in the notice. The announcement does not specify award values, budget ranges, or quantities for the spare parts requirement, as this is strictly an information-gathering exercise to survey the marketplace. The Coast Guard emphasizes that this is not a solicitation and no contract will be awarded based on these responses, with any future formal procurement to be published separately on SAM.gov after reviewing the market research findings. Companies responding to this sources sought notice will need to submit separate responses to any future solicitation that may be issued.
