About this opportunity
USAID Moldova seeks audit services to conduct an attestation engagement and compliance audit of $106.8 million in direct budget support provided to the Government of Moldova from May 2022 to March 2023. Qualified audit firms are invited to submit quotes by February 20, 2024 to examine USAID's funding of electricity purchases made by the Government of Moldova and verify purchase amounts as reported by Tetra Tech. USAID Moldova will evaluate quotes based on technical experience and cost, and anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order. Questions about the solicitation are due by February 6.
There is no set-aside designation for this requirement. The selected firm must propose an audit plan within seven business days of award and submit final reports on specified schedules. Performance will take place in Chisinau, Moldova to examine the $106.8 million in direct budget support provided over 10 months from May 2022 to March 2023 as reported by the current contractor Tetra Tech. An amendment clarifies key personnel requirements and makes minor changes to the submission instructions and response timeline.
