About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure a Signal Processor, classified under the Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing NAICS category. This solicitation is being issued under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities, with a specific focus on obtaining FAA-Certified parts that possess an FAA Authorized Release Certificate (FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag). Vendors must be government-approved sources of supply and submit an authorized distributor letter from the actual manufacturer at the time of proposal submission. While specific award value is not detailed, the opportunity is associated with the Underwater Sound Equipment product service code. The solicitation applies to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) spares requirements processed by NAVSUP WSS and DLA Aviation Philadelphia, with a priority rating for national defense, emergency preparedness, and energy program use. The contract includes provisions for Buy American and Free Trade Agreements, and requires compliance with equal opportunity standards for workers with disabilities. Vendors must also submit annual representations and certifications, with the agency noting a company size reference of approximately 800 employees.
