About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service is conducting market research to establish a contract for Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes under NAICS Code 339940 for Office Supplies Manufacturing. This sources sought notice is designed to identify potential small business contractors capable of providing adhesive tape products, with a specific focus on determining market capabilities and competitive landscape. The government is seeking detailed capability statements from qualified sources, with specific evaluation questions about order fulfillment, electronic data interchange (EDI) capabilities, small business certifications, and delivery timeframes. Interested small businesses are requested to submit responses via email to Contract Specialist Jocelyn Vazquez-Wiggins and Section Chief Krystlyn Westre by April 23, 2025. The market research will help GSA determine whether to set aside the requirement for small businesses or solicit offers from all responsible sources.
The contract is anticipated to have a base year with three one-year option periods, covering both CONUS and OCONUS orders to government consolidation points in Tracy, New Cumberland, and Atlanta. The solicitation specifically targets small businesses with 750 employees or less, encouraging certifications such as 8A, WOSB, HUBZone, or SDVOSB. The attached document includes 38 unique National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for various pressure sensitive adhesive tapes, indicating a comprehensive procurement strategy. While no specific award value is mentioned, the procurement will cover a range of tape products identified in the NSN attachment. The government emphasizes that this is a planning-stage notice and does not represent a commitment to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to the notice.
