About this opportunity
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source delivery order to BAE Systems for D-49/ALE-47 1x1 and 1x2 Dispenser systems for Lot Acceptance Testing supporting U.S. Navy and other customer requirements through fiscal year 2030, with a capability statement deadline of July 21, 2026. The acquisition will be placed under existing Basic Ordering Agreement N0001922G0009; no formal competitive solicitation will be posted. NAVAIR states BAE is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the system and the only known source with requisite technical data, specialized knowledge, and infrastructure capable of fulfilling the requirement without unacceptable delays or duplicative costs. Work is performed at BAE's facility in Nashua, New Hampshire. Although a sole-source award is intended, interested parties may submit capability statements; NAVAIR will evaluate submissions to determine whether a competitive procurement strategy is feasible, with the final decision to compete resting solely with the government. The notice is published for informational purposes and does not constitute a request for proposals. Contact: Yanfang Zhang (yanfang.zhang.civ@us.navy.mil).
