All work shall be performed on the Rio Grande National Forest in south central Colorado. The objective is reduce hazardous fuels loading while improving wildlife habitat.

The Forest Service intends to award one Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the performance of these services based on the best interests of the Government. The proposed contract will have one base year and two option years extending through 11/30/2017. It is anticipated that the initial task order will include a treatment area of approximately 300 acres. There is no guarantee that the option to extend the contract will be funded or exercised.

This project is being advertised as a total small business set-aside and as such is open to all qualified small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310 and the small business size standard is $19.0 million. The solicitation for this project will be available only through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Jay Tobin at jtobin@fs.fed.us.

All Offerors shall be registered at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award. Offerors must respond to all instructions in Sections B, K and L of the solicitation to be considered responsive. Offerors that fail to meet these criteria may not be considered for award.

A pre-proposal conference is NOT planned. A map of the treatment area is being issued with this notice to allow prospective offerors the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the project area before bidding.

The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is on or about June 11, 2015. The actual due date for proposals will be identified on the solicitation.

THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE HAS BEEN ATTACHED.

A revised solicitation document has been posted to correct several typographical errors.  An SF30 Amendment will not be issued.

The issue and response dates were inadvertently omitted from the revised SF33, a corrected copy is attached.
