About this opportunity
The Federal Aviation Administration issued a pre-award notice of intent to extend the Navigation Technical Assistance II (NAVTAC II) IDIQ contract on a sole-source basis with Advanced Management Technology, Inc. (a Tetra Tech Company, Arlington, VA) through July 9, 2026, making this extension unavailable for full and open competition. The FAA will extend the existing contract DTFAWA-17-D-00013 for one year, finding AMT the only source capable of providing uninterrupted support services without operational disruption. AMT possesses specialized experience, technical knowledge, and institutional familiarity with FAA Navigation Programs that the FAA determined cannot be replicated through a short-term transition to another vendor. The extension supports maintenance and sustainment of legacy navigation systems and deployment of Performance Based Navigation. This announcement is informational only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for information.
