About this opportunity

This notice seeks to procure 12 units of NSN 7H-2835-012864789, with TDP VER 009 and REF NR 23031765, from a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command intends to directly solicit and negotiate with one source for the supply of this part, as the government does not own the necessary technical data rights and has deemed reverse engineering or purchasing the data to be uneconomically infeasible. Interested parties must demonstrate capability to meet the qualification requirements at time of award in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. The deadline for responses is December 7, 2023.

The set-aside is designated for total small business. The goods will be delivered to W25G1U, W1A8 DLA DISTRIBUTION in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The requirement includes 12 units of NSN 7H-2835-012864789 to be delivered by the stated deadline. As the government lacks data rights, this appears to be a sole source follow-on contract for the incumbent, though the notice allows for alternative sources to identify capability. The value is undisclosed but consists of a fixed quantity of 12 units for delivery by December 2023.
