About this opportunity

The Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure Power Supply Subassemblies through this firm fixed-price solicitation. The procurement requires manufacturers or authorized distributors to provide power supply units that meet specific design requirements referenced by Cage Code 24930, part number 299346-1. Key contract requirements include first article testing where vendors must submit one unit for government evaluation within seven days, followed by submission of six additional units for manufacturing process verification after first article approval. The solicitation mandates government source inspection, compliance with MIL-STD-130 marking requirements, and MIL-STD 2073 packaging standards. Proposals are due by July 25, 2025, and vendors must provide proof of authorized distributor status from the original equipment manufacturer unless they are the manufacturer themselves.

This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in the notice. The procurement involves delivery to NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with Kenneth W. Harris serving as the point of contact for testing coordination. The contract includes accelerated delivery options, with vendors encouraged to deliver before scheduled dates, and freight terms are FOB Origin. Requirements for first article testing and manufacturing verification may be waived for sources that have fulfilled prior contracts for the same item, indicating this may be a repeat procurement for an existing military system component.
