About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is soliciting quotations for Power Control Assemblies (NSN 1680-01-258-5608) designed for F-16 aircraft under solicitation SPRTA1-26-Q-0096. This Request for Quotation covers 14 line items with both production and first article testing requirements, procured through Foreign Military Sales cases for multiple countries including Taiwan and Saudi Arabia. Contractors must be Export Controlled certified, comply with ISO 9001-2015 standards, and provide Unique Item Identification markings on deliverables. The government will evaluate proposals based on price (priority 01), mission capability (priority 02), and past performance (priority 03), with contractors required to submit First Article Test Plans and Reports for government approval. The deadline for submission is December 8, 2025, with the solicitation posted on November 7, 2025.
This is a non-set-aside procurement that does not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold, allowing it to proceed without formal synopsis publication. The original delivery timeline specified September 29, 2025, indicating this procurement addresses urgent requirements; contractors must be prepared to meet accelerated schedules. The solicitation involves firm fixed pricing and specifies manufacturer part numbers from vendors including 64547, 70210, and 81755, suggesting qualified sources have been pre-identified. Performance will take place in Oro Valley, Arizona, and the procurement falls under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing). Interested contractors may respond electronically, with the complete solicitation package available through the GPE for potential offerors to access and submit bids.
