THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority of 15 U.S.C 637(m) and in accordance with FAR 19.1506.

The Reference Number is W50S7L22Q0001. The 120th Airlift Wing Contracting Office (120MSC), 2800 Airport Ave B, Great Falls, Montana, intends to award a single source contract for two portable Heavy Equipment Simulators, one excavator and one Dozer, brand name or equal to SIMFORMOTION CAT Simulators. The simulators must be capable of operating without an internet connection. These simulators will utilize VR technology and include travel cases for all equipment.  Virtual or On-site train the trainer type training must be provided on operation and capabilities of the simulators upon installation. A minimum of 36 months phone and email technical support and maintenance, and software upgrades must be provided with possibility to renew at end of 12months. Training for instructors on both Excavator and Track Type Tractor curriculum will also be provided.

120 MSC intends to make an award to Simformotion, LLC, 316 SW Washington St, Suite 300, Peoria, IL 61602. Market research was performed and information gathered in determining this company to be a suitable source for this requirement.

In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source based on the statutory authority of 15 U.S.C 637(m) and in accordance with FAR19.1506. This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
