About this opportunity
The Colorado Air National Guard's 140th Wing is seeking to procure two portable cabin pressure testers for their 140th Maintenance Squadron Electric Shop through a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation requires contractors to provide cabin pressure testing equipment matching TRONAIR part number 15-7609-6000-FJ or an equivalent that meets specific technical specifications, including operation using shop air at 200 CFM with 120-150 PSI range and multiple pressure gauges. The contract will be awarded on a best value basis, considering factors such as price and lead times, with an emphasis on technical compliance and vendor capabilities. Key deadlines include February 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM MST for submitting questions, and March 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM MST for quote submissions. The evaluation will focus on vendors' ability to meet the detailed salient characteristics outlined in the solicitation's technical specifications.
The solicitation is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 333519 (Rolling Mill and Other Metalworking Machinery Manufacturing) with a size standard of 500 employees. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price arrangement, with delivery required within 30 days of award to the 140th Maintenance Squadron located in Aurora, CO 80011. Contractors must provide equipment with a comprehensive warranty, and while a maintenance service plan was initially considered, it has been removed in the most recent amendment. The government notes that current funding is not available, and the award is subject to funding confirmation. Vendors are required to provide two identical units from the same manufacturer to ensure consistent maintenance and user operability, with the specific equipment needed to support aircraft ground servicing operations.
