About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Nuclear Weapons Center is seeking contractors to provide Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) remediation and disposal services for the Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) program. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Time and Material (T&M) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to furnish all labor, material, equipment, and licensing necessary for the PCB remediation and disposal at sites located in Utah, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, and California. Interested parties must have a DD2345 certification from the Defense Logistics Information Service, Joint Certification Program, and are advised to obtain this certification promptly as the government anticipates moving quickly on this effort.

The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) supports all aspects of the MMIII Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) and Launch Control Centers (LCCs).

Contractor support is required for remediation and disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) within the MAF/LCCs. 

The program will be supported via a Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Time and Material (T&M) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract covering sites located in Utah, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado and California.  The contract shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and licensing necessary to perform all aspects of the PCB remediation and disposal.

Please carefully review the attached FAR 52.212-1 & 52.212-2 Addendums for instructions on submitting offers.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:

The distribution of the PWS and related documents is limited to contractors with a DD2345 certified by the Defense Logistics Information Service, Joint Certification Program (1-877-352-2255) and who have a legitimate business purpose. As such, the PWS and related documents cannot be provided to a contractor without a certification. Contractors who would like to become certified can find the form and instructions at:

Interested parties are advised that certification of a DD2345 may take time, so completion and submission of that form as soon as possible is highly recommended.
