About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) seeks to procure repair services for one unit of NSN 5865015796300, part number P/N001-008702-1001 (LSPR), an electronic countermeasures equipment component. The Government intends to award this contract on a sole source basis to the Original Equipment Manufacturer due to the unavailability of drawings, technical data, and alternative sources capable of providing the required repair support. The procurement will follow FAR Part 15 procedures rather than commercial item acquisition guidelines, though interested parties may submit capability statements or proposals demonstrating commercial item solutions within 15 days of this notice. Buy American clauses will apply, and all responsible sources may submit proposals for consideration by the contracting officer. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on February 2, 2026, with a deadline of February 17, 2026, and all proposals received within 30 days of publication will be evaluated by the Government.

This procurement is designated as an 8(a) Sole Source set-aside, with Northrop Grumman Systems Corp (CAGE 26916) identified as the intended award recipient and sole approved source for this material. The contract involves the repair of a single supply unit with no specific budget range disclosed in the notice, and award is expected to be made to the pre-identified firm contingent upon satisfactory proposal submission. The NAICS classification is 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing), and the PSC code is 5865 (Electronic Countermeasures Equipment). Interested firms not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR), though the Government has indicated this procurement will not be delayed pending SAR approval. Unique Identifier (UID) requirements will apply to all submissions.
