About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 5 units of PLATE ASSY, TELCOM components under NSN 7H-5935-013718541-VN. This pre-solicitation notice indicates the government intends to conduct a sole-source procurement under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may express interest and submit capability statements within 45 days of publication (30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). The government possesses complete technical data rights with no manufacturing restrictions, making this potentially suitable for full and open competition despite the current sole-source approach. Award decisions will be made only if offerors meet qualification requirements per FAR clause 52.209-1, and the government retains full discretion to determine whether to proceed competitively based on responses received. The due date for this procurement opportunity extends to July 28, 2025.

This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting participation to qualified small business entities. The procurement involves a quantity of 5 units with FOB origin delivery terms, though no specific contract value or budget range is disclosed in the notice. No incumbent contractors or potential offerors are identified in the documentation. The technical data package reference is TDP VER 002 with reference number 5854997, and the government has indicated that A/RMCs 1 or 2 are valid for this procurement. Interested parties can obtain relevant military specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) system, with most documents available through ASSIST-Online at the provided website portal.
