About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Pearl Harbor is soliciting quotes for a CN-Seamless Mach 1 Plasma Kit, a specialized mechanized CNC plasma cutting system designed for portable plate material cutting operations. The procurement includes the main plasma kit with WiFi disabled, a Hypertherm torch, mechanized consumable set, a TAA-compliant Dell Latitude 7230 tablet without camera or WiFi capabilities, and a pipe base. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and provide comprehensive quote information including unit pricing FOB destination, tax identification numbers, unique entity identifiers, and CAGE codes. The award will be made using the lowest price technically acceptable evaluation criteria under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13 for commercial items. Quote submissions are due by 12:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time on July 25, 2025, and must be emailed to the designated contracting officer.
This solicitation is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 333515 (Cutting Tool and Machine Tool Accessory Manufacturing), with an estimated procurement value of $20,885.45 based on the single source justification memorandum. The procurement is being pursued as a single source acquisition from CN-Seamless, which developed the specific mechanized cutting system that meets the government's requirements for repeatability, material thickness capacity, and overall cut size specifications. Delivery is required by August 22, 2025, to DLA Distribution at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The acquisition is justified under simplified acquisition procedures using exclusive licensing agreements, as CN-Seamless holds the proprietary rights to this particular plasma cutting system that has been approved by Code 109 via ITPR. The immediate delivery requirement supports urgent funding obligations for the naval facility.
