About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 8 units of linear actuator pistons under NSN 7R-1650-013438954-VH, which fall under the Aircraft Hydraulic, Vacuum, And De-Icing System Components category. The procurement references specification number 2012C-4 and requires FOB origin delivery terms. The government intends to conduct this as a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources are invited to express interest and demonstrate their capability to respond to the requirement. The solicitation allows for early and incremental deliveries to be accepted by the government. The due date for this opportunity extends to October 31, 2025, providing an extended timeline for interested parties to respond.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. The contract calls for a quantity of 8 units of the specified linear actuator components. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice, nor are specific award values or budget ranges disclosed. The extended timeline from the March 2023 posting date through the October 2025 due date suggests this may be part of a longer-term procurement strategy or allow for complex qualification processes. Contractors interested in this opportunity can access relevant military specifications and standards through the DoD Single Stock Point system or the ASSIST-Online database for technical documentation requirements.
