The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The principal components of work includes;



Furnish and replace associated equipment, grounding system, conduit and insulated conductors, and cables for station service. Furnish and install new steel structures, and concrete foundations. The equipment affected at Pilot Butte includes replacing the Station Service Transformer, Distribution panel DWA, Yard Panel 1 and various conductors. All work shall be completed in approximately 212 calendar days after the date of receipt of Notice to Proceed. The estimated order of magnitude is between $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00. FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237130; Size Standard is $36.5M. The solicitation including specifications and drawings will be issued electronically at this site on or about 12 July 2017 at the following sites: https://www.fbo.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net.



NOTE: the Buy American Act applies to the solicitation. Refer to FAR Clause 52.225-9 (Section I) and FAR Provision 52.225-10 (Section L) if any non-domestic material will be proposed. Bidders must identify any non-domestic materials (not manufactured in United States) included in their bid. Please check with your suppliers and subcontractors to verify whether or not their quotes include non-domestic material.
