About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC for maintenance and support services related to endoscopy products. The contract is designated for the VA Pacific Island Health Care System's Guam Community Based Outpatient Clinic Annex and has an estimated value not exceeding $42,700. This procurement will be conducted under the Multiple Award Schedule Program and various federal authorities including the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act and the National Defense Authorization Act of 2002. The notice is classified as a Total Small Business set-aside opportunity under NAICS code 334510 for Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. The VA has determined that the government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source, justifying the sole source approach.
The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the contracting community of the government's intent to proceed with a sole source procurement while providing an opportunity for other vendors to express interest and capability. Interested parties must respond by August 22, 2025, at 9:00 AM Central Standard Time to be considered for potential competition. To be eligible, vendors must demonstrate they are authorized representatives capable of providing Pick Point supplies and services in accordance with original equipment manufacturer specifications. The government emphasizes that this notice is not a request for competitive proposals but rather a notification that allows interested parties to identify their capabilities. All responses received by the deadline will be evaluated to determine whether the procurement should be opened to competition, though the final determination remains at the government's discretion. No solicitation document is currently available, and information received will primarily be used to assess whether competitive procurement is warranted.
