The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items. 1) Carbon Phenolic Molding Compound Qty: 50 LBS 2) Silica Phenolic Molding Compound Qty: 200 LBS. This requirement is sole sourced to: Cytec Engineered Materials 501 W 3rd Street Winona, MN 55987 as having the required pressure, heat and geometric properties for component requirements and is consistent with current tooling designs Any firms believing that they can provide these items may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the product and without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
