About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 6 electronic phase shifters with National Stock Number 7R-5915-015612476-E7, with a specific requirement that the part must be acquired from or repaired by a source specified on a source control or selected item drawing. The government intends to negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, indicating a potential sole-source procurement. Interested parties may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements within 45 days of the notice's publication (or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). The solicitation emphasizes that award will only be made if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets specific qualification requirements. Potential vendors must obtain necessary technical specifications through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) and can access documents via ASSIST-Online or by contacting the DODSSP Help Desk.

There are no specific set-aside designations for this contract opportunity. The procurement is not using FAR Part 12 policies for commercial items, though interested parties can identify commercial item capabilities within 15 days of the notice. The contract covers a relatively small quantity of 6 units, with delivery specified as FOB Origin. The government has determined that suitable technical data, government data rights, or manufacturing/repair knowledge are not currently available to permit acquisition or qualification testing from alternative sources. The solicitation was posted on January 25, 2025, with a response deadline of June 30, 2025. The final determination to compete or not compete with this proposed contract remains solely within the government's discretion, and any information received will typically be considered only for determining potential competitive procurement options.
