Pharmacy auto-notification services for, JBSA Ft. Sam Houston pharmacy locations (Jennifer Moreno Clinic Pharmacy, Westover Hills Medical Home, Community Refill Pharmacy and SAMMC Main Pharmacy) POP 1 February 2018 - 30 September 2018, plus 2 option years (30 Sept 2020)
In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order not previously issued under sole-source or limited-sources procedures.
(1 October 2015)
The Department of Pharmacy has a need for auto-notification services throughout Ft. Sam Houston pharmacy locations. This system allows for an automated system to call, email and text patients to notify them their prescription is ready for pick up at their respective pharmacy. The GSL Intellisys cabinets with which this system must be compatible, in order to work, currently are owned by the government. GSL Solutions does not sell any of its products or services to third parties, and has no authorized distributors. As such, they are the sole provider of this service. Award to any other vendor would require the replacement of pharmacy equipment at each pharmacy location throughout Fort Sam Houston
