Some of the duties include: Dispose of approximately 17,500 cubic yards of Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) contaminated soil resulting from construction associated with 6 separate F-35 construction projects at Eielson Air Force Base (EAFB).  Containerize, and transport contaminated soil to a RCRA approved class C or D solid waste landfill (as appropriate) for disposal.  Conduct post removal stockpile footprint sampling to confirm whether PFAS has migrated from the soil stockpiles to the underlying soil.  Post removal samples will be compared to pre-construction samples to determine if contaminants have migrated from the stockpiles.
