About this opportunity

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division is procuring PCB Blast Pressure Sensor Equipment through a sole source acquisition from PCB Piezotronics. The procurement includes multiple specialized items: 10 units each of 100-ft and 1-ft 4-conductor shielded cables, 20 units of 50-ft low-noise coaxial cable, 30 units each of mounting adapters and quartz free-field ICP blast pressure pencil probes for 137 Series Free-field blast probes, and 10 units of 1/4" pressure prepolarized microphones with preamplifiers. This is structured as an all-or-none requirement under a firm fixed price contract, meaning partial quotes will be deemed unresponsive. The government will evaluate offers based on compliance with solicitation terms and price reasonableness, awarding to the single offeror whose proposal conforms to requirements and is most advantageous to the government. Quotes are due by September 5, 2025, and must be submitted electronically in PDF or MS Word format to the specified email address.

No set-aside designation applies to this procurement, as it is being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures specifically targeting PCB Piezotronics as the sole source provider. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management and qualify as either an Original Equipment Manufacturer, authorized dealer, or authorized reseller, with proof of authorization required. While no specific contract value is disclosed in the solicitation notice, the procurement involves substantial quantities of specialized blast pressure sensing equipment and associated cables. Delivery is scheduled for 16 weeks after contract award to the Expeditionary Systems Engineering Division located in Fallbrook, California. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334519 for Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing and PSC code 6635 for Physical Properties Testing and Inspection.
