This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and attachments constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation number is N66001-13-R-0053, as attached, and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), (SF 1449) for Commercial Items. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This combinedsynopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and SPAWAR e-commerce (https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil). The Department of Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific(SSC PAC) expects to award a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award contract with a base period of one (1) year and two (2) one-year options for Patent Application Drafting Services. This service requires preparing and delivering up to 75 sets of documents to (SSC PAC) that are, in part, required in non-provisional utility United States utility patent applications. (SSC PAC) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing one (1) base year and two (2) option years at a rate of up to 25 sets of documents per year for Patent Application Drafting Servicesby 26 November 2012 at 2:00 p.m. PST. Offerors wishing to submit a proposal are responsible for downloading the RFP, (SF 1449); from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a completed SF 1449 and associated proposal documentation as outlined in the RFP, which shall be considered by the agency.
